dc.description.abstractNobody can deny the can deny the fundamental importance that reading comprehension has for academic, professional, personal or social success; that is why, throughout time we have seen methodological investigations concerning to how students can improve their reading abilities; even more, if we talk about the advantage of the internet, students of 21st century have access to get more information than any other student before them. However, in the Bolivian context, we have not seen methodological investigations that focus on the improvement of referential, and even more, on inferential reading comprehension. Therefore, it is considered that all learners who work with English as foreign language at the Linguistics and Languages Department at Mayor San Andrés University need more than ever before to associate their own thinking with the information required, comprehending and learning what is written between and beyond the lines in the textes_ES
