    Abstract
This project is focused on teaching the basic level of the English language at secondary grade at Libertad en las Americas school. It is located in El Alto city. This work was based on the students’ necessities and interests to help them in the teaching /learning process in English classes. The Present work tries to show the benefits of games in learning a second language, in this case, the English language. Didactic games are indispensable activities in human development. It is not only an act of self- expression. Games are a form of exploring od discovering sensations, movements and relationship with people around them. The students from secondary grade have the chance to join a new and innovative way of learning English in an exciting and fun classroom environment. According to some authors’ points of view: games help students to participate in classes. Also, it is a way to attract the interest of students. The work consists of four chapters: the first section is about the institution’s analysis and results in the diagnostic part section; the second chapter is about the theoretical foundation in which we can present different theories regarding our topic. The third part explains the proposal section. We mention the objectives, justification and what we plan for the guided work, and the way in how we put it into practice. Finally, the last chapter end with the recommendations and the conclusion of the work.
