    Abstract
Translation is a communicative tool used around the world in order to satisfy human necessities as social individuals. Additionally, technology is constantly applied in communication to make it more efficient and as a result of globalization, e.g. web pages, facebook, twitter, and so forth. In the specific case, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has an official web page, in both languages Spanish and English, where information is published such as government notes, economic data, reports, and economic figures. Under this approach, this thesis, based on an exploratory survey, introduces in both translation theories and empiricism to demonstrate the effectiveness of the application of a Glossary of Economic Terms and Hyper Contexts that were standardized previously, using the contextualization as strategy of translation. In addition, we also identified certain inaccuracies during the process of translation in situ; that is, with translated materials, employing the analysis and selection of secondary information of official publications are annexed to be considered by translators at the moment of translating domestic web pages and related fields. Finally, we hope this work will contribute to encourage people to improve communicative interaction between Hispanic and Anglo-speakers by means of adjustments of web pages and statements suggested.
