"La necesidad de incorporación de los animales no humanos en la Constitución Política del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia"

Abstract

Desde la aprobación, en los años 70, de la Declaración Universal de los derechos de los animales, se han empezado a generar una serie de acuerdos internacionales en los que se considera que los animales tienen que ser un sujeto de derecho. Pero ¿qué significa ser un sujeto de derecho? Significa que, al igual que los humanos, los animales tienen derechos que deben ser respetados, como el derecho a la libertad, a que no se les cause dolor, a la satisfacción de sus necesidades básicas y la preservación de su hábitat. Son muchos aspectos estudiados no solo por nuestro país, sino por todo el mundo, que van tomándose más y más conciencia, sin embargo no hemos terminado con el objetivo de poder contar no solo con leyes alternas para el tratamiento de la protección y reconocimiento de los Derechos de los animales, sino también de poder incorporarlos dentro la Carta Magna del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia; que no sólo sería una acérrima necesidad, sino además un paso importante a nivel Latinoamericano y por qué no decirlo en todo el mundo. ABSTRACT Since the approval, in the 70s, of the Universal Declaration of the rights of animals, a series of international agreements have begun to be generated in which it is considered that animals have to be a subject of law. But what does it mean to be a subject of law? It means that, like humans, animals have rights that must be respected, such as the right to freedom, not to be caused pain, to the satisfaction of their basic needs and the preservation of their habitat. There are many aspects studied not only by our country, but by the whole world, which are becoming more and more aware, however we have not finished with the objective of being able to have not only alternative laws for the treatment of the protection and recognition of the Animal rights, but also to be able to incorporate them into the Magna Carta of the Plurinational State of Bolivia; that it would not only be a staunch necessity, but also an important step at the Latin American level and why not say so throughout the world
