It consists of four chapters that give information about the activities of the guided work in two stages. The first chapter begins with a general description about the United Nations, Millennium Development Goals and the agreement among institutions. It continues with the needs, identification of the problem and the problem analysis with regard to the intervention area. The second chapter consists on the proposal which is divided in two stages, the first stage refers to the project design and the second stage refers to the translation. It continues with the justification, objectives, indicators, strategies of action which make references to the techniques and methods for reaching the objectives and finally the plan of action for fixing the activities. The third chapter covers the development of proposal which involves the work schedule, the sequence of activities divided in two stages; moreover, it includes the achievements of both stages and finally a description of the experience of the Guided Work. The fourth chapter presents the conclusion and recommendation that arose from the developed work. Finally, it includes five appendixes: the first one shows the agreement among Institutions; the second one shows United Nations Volunteers Programme’s terms of reference; the third one shows the report of the activities in Copacabana in relation to the project design and the last one shows the sample of the project’s proposal.
